What is Home Staging?

Home staging is the process of creating a welcoming curb appeal and the process of improving the interior of a home's potential. Staging transforms the property into a “neutral” space, thus paving the way for buyers to make an emotional connection and to “picture” themselves in that space. It is rearranging and refreshing furnishings to enhance the look of the interior and transforming it into an inviting space, making the property “move-in” ready.

How can Home Staging benefit you?

  • Research shows that the average staged property sells quicker and acquires a higher selling price than a non-staged property. It reduces the chance of having showings with no offers.
  • A staged property will stand out from the competition in the neighborhood. Buyers will not be turned away by the appearance of an updated pre-sale makeover of the property.
  • When a property has been staged, realtors will be confident that it will show well, and they will not be afraid of bringing more buyers to look at it.
  • A staged property makes for awesome photos. The home will show up better in print and virtual tours and look just like the magazine. Awesome photos attract more buyers to showings and bringing more offers, ultimately increasing the opportunity to sell the listing during the first round of marketing.

“A vast majority of people (over 90%) can't imagine what a house could look like with furniture in it and they have nothing to compare their own furnishings to in an empty space.
